Sally Özcan’s first physical café joins a 2026 season that includes a new Monaco themed area, original 4D film, and 119-room western lodge
Europa-Park (Rust, Germany) is partnering with Sally Özcan, Germany’s most successful food creator (2.2M+ on YouTube, 4M+ followers, 20M monthly views), to open her first physical café inside the park, marking what appears to be the first creator-operated restaurant at a major European theme park. Sally’s Café is one of several additions for the 2026 season, which also includes a new Monaco-themed area, an original 4D film from MACK Magic, a comedy magic show, and a 119-room western lodge opening in June.
Sally’s Café
Özcan, known online as “Sallys Welt,” runs Germany’s top cooking and baking YouTube channel. Her company employs roughly 150 people and sells baking supplies, household products, and accessories under the “Sallys Welt” brand. She has published six cookbooks and appeared on multiple German television programs, including a 2025 live tour that combined cooking, storytelling, and audience interaction on a kitchen stage.
Sally’s Café is located in the Blue Fire Dome, inside the park’s Iceland themed area, next to the Blue Fire looping roller coaster. The menu features freshly baked cakes, specialty coffees, and original creations from Özcan’s repertoire. According to German outlet Badische Zeitung, the café fills a gap in Europa-Park’s dining options around the Blue Fire and Wodan roller coasters.
“It’s a great honor that the Mack family trusts me and that I’m the first creator to open a café at Europa-Park,” Özcan said. “My café offers delicacies you won’t find anywhere else. Surprising and perhaps initially unfamiliar creations, sweet secrets, and delicious treats just waiting to be discovered.”
Özcan, who grew up near the park in Waghäusel, described a personal connection to the resort. “The park shaped my childhood and youth. My family and I used to come here once a year,” she said.
Monaco Themed Area
The largest capital addition for 2026 is Monaco, the park’s 18th European themed area. Centered around the Silver Star roller coaster, the Monaco area draws inspiration from the Mediterranean with architecture, marina theming, and culinary offerings. An exclusive exhibition of cars from Prince Albert II’s personal collection is included.
The partnership with Monaco extends into live entertainment. Europa-Park’s Winter Circus Revue, which ran during the 2025/2026 winter season, was produced in cooperation with the Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival.
SNORRI 4D and New Live Entertainment
Europa-Park is also expanding its original IP programming. SNORRI 4D, titled “Catch Me If You Candy,” is a new animated film from MACK Magic that brings the mascot of the Rulantica water world to the park’s 4D Magic Cinema for the first time. The daily show features vibrating seats, wind effects, and surround sound. The film extends the Rulantica brand, which until now has been confined to the adjacent water park, into park-side entertainment.
A new comedy magic show, “Wonderlab: Magic out of Control,” features performers Timothy Trust and Diamond in a futuristic laboratory setting with floating objects, glowing experiments, and a dimensional portal. The show blends magic, chaos, and comedy as part of the daily program.
Dining and Digital Ordering
Beyond Sally’s Café, Europa-Park has made several F&B changes. The former Pastaria di Enzo has been transformed into Enzo’s Ice Cream Spaghetteria. The Happiness Station has relocated from the France themed area to Ireland Children’s World.
The park is expanding its digital ordering options. In addition to existing self-order terminals, guests can now pre-order food and drinks via the Europa-Park & Rulantica app, select a pickup time, and pay within the app. The first locations offering the service are CMAK in the Russia themed area and Moby Dick in the Iceland themed area.
The park’s fine dining restaurant, Ammolite (House of Light), which has held two Michelin stars since 2014, has undergone a comprehensive rebrand with a new separate entrance, a walk-in wine cellar, and a modernized design concept. Head chef Peter Hagen-Wiest continues to lead the kitchen. It is the only two-Michelin-starred restaurant at a theme park worldwide.
Riverside Western Lodge and Silver Lake City
The Riverside Western Lodge opens in June 2026 with 119 family rooms and a sauna area. The surrounding Silver Lake City expansion includes Grandpa Will’s Hot Dogs, Cold Rush Western Ice Creams, a new shop with a 24/7 self-service area, a permanent YULLBE Go virtual reality location, a 40-square-metre arcade, and the Silver Lake Brewery serving house-brewed beer. A chapel, bicycle rental service with e-mountain bikes, and new sanitary facilities for caravans round out the additions.
Also opening in Silver Lake City in early July is the Europa-Park Little Heroes Children’s House for young people recovering from cancer, organized in cooperation with the RTL foundation “Wir helfen Kindern.”
All 219 pitches at Europa-Park Caravaning have been equipped with electricity and water connections.
Rulantica Water World
At the adjacent Rulantica water park, a new outdoor shop called Bubba’s Butikk replaces the previous Strandhus Svalgur and Snorri’s Piknikbud retail locations, offering beach gear, refreshments, and snacks. New content for the Snorri Snorkling VR underwater attraction is planned for later in 2026.
Hotel and Resort Updates
Additional changes across the resort include a themed border installation at Friethuys inspired by the Dutch-Belgian enclave municipalities of Baarle-Nassau and Baarle-Hertog, renovation of the Castello dei Medici waiting area, new arcade machines, and modernized rest rooms for bus drivers.
At Hotel Krønasår, the Bubba Svens restaurant now features a children’s cinema showing short films from 6 p.m., and a small park area has been created on the site of the former YULLBE centre. Hotel Santa Isabel has new box-spring beds in standard and deluxe rooms. At Hotel Colosseo, the Palladio Suite is being redesigned and renamed the Claudia Cardinale Suite, in homage to the Italian actress. The Ammolite (The Lighthouse Restaurant) is also being redesigned, and a new employee restaurant is planned for autumn 2026.
