ABOUT SEASONAL ENTERTAINMENT SOURCE

What We Are

Seasonal Entertainment Source is the only professional publication dedicated to seasonal and live entertainment at attractions.

We cover seasonal programming across all four seasons – spring festivals, summer events, fall harvest and Halloween programming, winter holidays. We cover live entertainment at attractions – actor training, character programs, street performers, show development, improv and story craft.

We publish project features, operational guides, designer profiles, creative process documentation, awards coverage, and industry analysis.

Monthly stories on the website. Extended podcast conversations. Annual print magazine distributed at IAAPA.

The Coverage Gap

Most industry coverage focuses on permanent infrastructure – capital projects, ride systems, mechanical attractions.

We focus on what brings those venues to life seasonally – the Easter programming, summer festivals, Halloween overlays, Christmas events. And the live entertainment that activates them – actors, character performers, street entertainment, shows.

Spring garden programming gets as much attention as Halloween. IAAPA live entertainment awards get covered. Actor training and improv techniques get documented.

Nobody else is covering this systematically. That’s our territory.
