June 2, 2026
Oogie Boogie Bash, the hard-ticket Halloween party at Disney California Adventure (Anaheim, CA), returns on select nights Aug. 18 through Oct. 31, 2026, and adds a new street party inspired by the Haunted Mansion and named for Madame Leota. Tickets go on sale to the general public June 18, with Magic Key pre-sales June 16 and 17 that begin with the Inspire tier. The party opens three days ahead of Halloween Time at Disneyland Resort, which runs Aug. 21 through Oct. 31 across both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure.
The New Street Party
Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake: A Haunted Mansion Street Party is named for the medium of the Haunted Mansion’s séance scene, who appears in the attraction as a disembodied head floating inside a crystal ball. Disneyland Resort describes the new offering as a “street party full of show-stopping moments and ghoulishly good times inspired by the beloved Haunted Mansion attraction.”
The announcement does not detail showtimes, the party’s location within Disney California Adventure, or the rest of the 2026 entertainment lineup for the event.
Halloween Time Across the Resort
The resort’s returning Halloween slate spans both parks:
- Haunted Mansion Holiday (Returning). The Disneyland Park overlay that redresses the Haunted Mansion in “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas” theming.
- Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween and Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree (Returning). Halloween versions of the two Cars Land attractions at Disney California Adventure.
- Guardians of the Galaxy: Monsters After Dark (Returning). The Halloween overlay of the Guardians drop-tower attraction at Disney California Adventure, running from late afternoon each day.
- “Mickey’s Trick and Treat” (Returning). The daytime character show at Disney California Adventure.
- “Halloween Screams” (Returning). The Disneyland Park nighttime spectacular, with fireworks on select nights.
- Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit (Returning). A pumpkin-themed scavenger hunt across both parks and the Downtown Disney District.
- Plaza de la Familia (Returning). The Disney California Adventure celebration honoring Día de los Muertos, running Aug. 21 through Nov. 2.
How It Fits
The Anaheim announcement lands as Disney builds out its Halloween calendar on both coasts. Walt Disney World (Lake Buena Vista, FL) has already set the earliest start in Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party history, opening the Magic Kingdom event Aug. 7. The wider industry Halloween season is taking shape as well: Universal has confirmed a Sinners haunted house for Halloween Horror Nights on both coasts.
